Product Old Name: Shell Omala HD 320
They are heavy duty industrial gear oils without lead-free high pressure additives. They show excellent performance in gear systems and other industrial applications thanks to their high load carrying capacities and anti-friction properties. Shell Omala Oils, which outperform lead gear oils, do not harm the environment.
PERFORMANCE FEATURES
• Exceptional oxidation and thermal stability: Thanks to its high thermal resistance, it prevents the formation of muddy structures. It provides long oil life even in applications with high oil temperature.
• Preventing corrosion: Protects steel and bronze parts even in the presence of water and pollution.
• No lead
• Wide viscosity range: Thanks to the wide viscosity options, there are products suitable for all kinds of industrial applications.
• Water separation feature: Omala oils are easily separated from water. In this way, water that may have got into the system can be drained easily. The presence of water accelerates the oxidation of the oil. It causes fast fatigue of the gear surfaces (fatique) and corrosion in the system
is the chief reason. As soon as the presence of water is detected, necessary precautions must be taken urgently.
