Castrol Braycote ™ 2115 (formerly Molub-Alloy ™ 2115) thermally stable,
High temperature synthetic bearing oils. The products have a temperature resistant non-soap base formulated and thickened from advanced synthetic liquid. Braycote 2115 contains a lubricant layer for good wear protection and Conventional greases designed to greatly extend the service life and relubrication intervals in High temperature bearings.
Application
Primarily recommended for Braycote 2115 bearings developed for long-term service in oven conveyor bearings Minimum re-application and drip-free Performance is required in paint drying ovens, textile sewing frames and similar applications.
Braycote 2115 can be used in continuous service at 250 ° C / 482 ° F and can be exposed to intermittent temperatures up to 280 ° C / 536 ° F. Mandatory draft ventilation,
Braycote 2115 can be applied manually or with automatic dispensing equipment.
Advantages
Thermally and chemically stable - high resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, re-lubrication Intermittent without excessive risk of lubrication, lubrication starvation or power draw
It is almost inert below 300 57C / 572ºF - resistant to the thickening and hardening typical of petroleum greases in it.
High temperature service
Even at high temperatures (see Application section) Braycote 2115, non-fluorinated
Solvents and most chemicals, strong acids, alkalis and oxidizing agents
Low volatility - does not readily evaporate when exposed to high temperatures and / or high vacuum
