CASTROL SYNTILO 1023

Description

Castrol Syntilo ™ 1023 is a synthetic cutting and grinding fluid formulated for cast iron transfer lines and includes a superior lubrication package specifically designed to provide excellent machinability on ferrous materials. It is a clear fluid which forms a clear, colorless solution in tap water. Syntilo 1023 is formulated to separate most tramp oil to the surface of the fluid where it can be removed by skimming.

Application

Syntilo 1023 should be used on ferrous metal cutting operations where long service life is required. Syntilo 1023 should generally be used at concentrations of 3-5% for grinding and 4-8% for machining. Syntilo 1023 provides corrosion protection to finished parts and machinery including cast iron.
