Description Castrol DWF is a multi-purpose rust preventive, lubricant, penetrant, water-displacer and cleaner. Application Castrol DWF has a wide range of applications in industrial, automotive, household and recreational use.
Typical applications include:
• Protection of parts during manufacture and storage.
• Tool and die preservation.
• Displaces moisture from flooded electrical equipment such as ignition systems of outboard motors, lawn mowers, motor cycles and cars.
• Lubricates door locks, hinges, cables, linkages, fire-arms and aerials.
• Penetrates, freeing corroded parts.
• Cleans and removes oil and grease from all metals, leaving a thin protective film behind. Removal Normally not necessary. However, Castrol DWF can easily be removed with any petroleum solvent such as white spirits or by any suitable alkaline cleaning agents. Protection Period This product contains a volatile petroleum solvent and suitable fire precautions should be taken.
