Description Castrol Patent RD Compound Standard is a water-in-oil emulsion specially formulated with anti-wear, anti-rust and extreme pressure additives to protect internal rock drill components against wear, corrosion, high pressure and frictional loads and provide for cleaner, safer operating conditions. Applications Castrol Patent RD Compound Standard has been fortified to operate as an in-line air tool lubricant in all pneumatic rock drills operating on mines with moderate to severe operating conditions. The compound is far more environmentally safe than conventional rock drill lubricants, due to its' high water content and the absence of heavy hydrocarbons. Castrol Patent RD Compound Standard is supplied in sealed, ready-to-use plastic cartridges designed for use in conjunction with the Castrol Lubricator.
