CASTROL Absorbent

Description Castrol Absorbent is a granular clay, mined in South Africa and has been treated to make it high absorbent to oil and grease spillage.

Applications Castrol Absorbent is used to be traded to a depth of 3mm-5mm.

• It can be used on a clean floor to absorb new spillage’s or spread onto a dirty area to clean up and contain existing spillage’s.

• Saturation point is reached when Castrol Absorbent changes color, viz. Black with oil and grease; Dark brown with acid, water and other liquids.

• Reduces odor of absorbed material.

• Locally available, ensuring continuity of supply.

• Absorbs 20% -40% of its own weigh tofoil.

Chemically inactive.

• Holds the absorbed fluid, even when pressed under foot.

• Reduced fire hazards of absorbed flammable substances and do not support combustion.

• If saturation point is not reached, Castrol Absorbent can be re-used.

NOTE: Distribute Castrol Absorbent carefully to prevent Absorbent granules entering or fouling lubricants or moving machinery.
