Description Castrol Tunnelwash Plus is a low alkaline, all-temperature spray wash production and intermediate cleaner for final washing with industrial spray-washing equipment. Castrol Tunnelwash Plus is both nitrite and phosphate free.
Applications
• Castrol Tunnelwash Plus removes fine swarf, dirt, machine oil, and metalworking coolant from such components as machined castings, cylinder blocks, gear components, and general machine parts.
• It will also remove certain forming oil, NDT magnetic particles, and light carbon as found on electric motors, generators, etc.
• Castrol Tunnelwash Plus can also be used in de-burring machines for de-burring die-castings, smoothing and de-flashing. Method Of Use De-burring Machines: Use Castrol Tunnelwash Plus at 0.5% (v / v) concentration in water. Industrial Spray Washing: The working solution should be 0.5% - 2.5% v / v concentration depending on the contaminant to be removed, substrate and inhibition required. Temperature: Cold to 80 ° C Pressure: Up to 20 Bar Contact Time: 1 - 10 minutes depending on application and machine cycle time. Advantages
