CASTROL Iloform BWS 153

Description

Castrol Iloform BWS 153 is a water miscible, oil in water emulsion, specifically formulated for copper and

copper alloy rod breakdown and wire drawing requirements. The formed emulsion is greenish blue in color.

Applications

Rod breakdown / wire drawing:

Castrol Iloform BWS 153 is ideally suited for use in heavy rod breakdown requirements (initial diameters of

15mm), and for wire drawing requirements with initial diameters starting from 4,5mm in both immersed and spray

lubricated die configurations.

Continuous Annealing:

Castrol Iloform BWS 153 is also eminently suited as the coolant medium during continuous annealing. Castrol

Iloform BWS 153 is consequently suitable for production of fine and very fine copper wire prior to enameling

processes.

NOTE: Store indoors and away from elements such as frost, etc. If speeds are increased and reduction percentages

increased, concentrations may have to be altered over and above those recommended.
