CASTROL Honilo 401

Description

Castrol Honilo 401 is a special light mineral oil blend.

Application

Castrol Honilo 401 is specially formulated for use as a dielectric fluid in spark

erosion machines (EDM). It is also used successfully for honing of cast iron, deep

hole boring and drilling under pressure delivery conditions. Other machining

applications include various duties on small automatic lathes where ferrous and

non-ferrous metals are machined. Suitable as a lubricant for high speed spindles

on CNC machine tools.

Castrol Honilo 401 is classified as hazardous. In line with safe handling practices,

it is recommended that the handling instructions outlined in the Castrol Material

Safety Data Sheet be followed.

Storage and Handling

Combustible C1 liquid for storage and handling purposes.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Avoid sparks,

flames and other ignition sources. Store away from incompatible materials

such as oxidizing materials. Reference should be made to Australian

Standard AS1940 - The storage and handling of flammable and combustible

liquids. Airborne mists of this product may ignite in the presence of an

ignition source.
