Recommended Applications
Castrol HoniloTM 480 CF is recommended for heavy-duty and super-finishing
honing operations such as cylinder bore honing, honing steel liners and flat
honing, as well as tapping operations on soft, hard and closed grain cast iron.
Castrol HoniloTM 480 CF is also suitable for auto lathe work, turning, milling,
threading and gear cutting of light alloy steels, aluminum and its alloys. It is
especially recommended for drilling and tapping aluminum.
Compatibility With Work Material
Castrol HoniloTM 480 CF may be used on both ferrous and nonferrous metals
and alloys.
