CASTROL Cyltech 40SX

Description

Castrol Cyltech 40SX is a 40 BN high detergent, premium marine diesel engine cylinder lubricant for two-stroke

crosshead engines running on low-sulphur fuels.

Application

Cyltech 40SX is suitable for prolonged operation on low-sulphur fuel (distillate or heavy fuel <2.0% sulphur) with

appropriately adjusted feed rates. Corrosion sensitive engines should select higher BN oils, especially for operation

using fuels with above 1.0% sulphur. Cyltech 40SX may be used with fuels of less than 0.1% sulphur, but we

recommend the use of Castrol Cyltech ACT for medium to long term use.

sulphur fuel under conditions as specified in their current oil recommendation list.
