CASTROL Alpha SMR NB Heavy

Description

Castrol Alpha™ SMR NB Heavy is exclusively developed to meet the higher performance requirements of heavily loaded,

slow speed mill roll bearings in sugar mills. This oil is blended from highly refined steam cylinder oil / heavy

brightstock base oils incorporating special performance boosters, which ensure better load-carrying properties and

imparts excellent film strength to prevent wear and corrosion of bearings under all operating conditions. The superior

demulsification feature of the oil provides efficient lubrication of machine elements even in the presence of sugar cane

juice. This product has excellent resistance to water washout due to its higher viscosity and special compounding agent.

Application

Castrol Alpha SMR NB Heavy is recommended for the lubrication of sugar mill crusher and mill roll bearings. The

product is generally applied by means of mechanical force-feed lubricators. They can also be used for slush pan

lubrication of open gears and in centralized lubrication systems of slow speed spur gears.
