CASTROL Optimol Suspension SU

Description

OPTIMOL™ SUSPENSION SU is a liquid high-temperature lubricant with stabilized, colloidal molybdenum disulphide. The

temperature-resistant, synthetic base oil evaporates at about +200°C / +392°F with minimal residue formation and leaves

a solid lubricant film with an outstanding load carrying capacity. It is suited for lubrication up to about +450°C / +842°F,

especially where sliding friction occurs.

Application

For oil lubrication points exposed to high temperatures:

In metallurgical plants, steel works and rolling mills.

On furnace chains, travelling grates, hinges, joints, tipping devices in drying systems.

In enamelling, smelting and annealing furnaces of the metal, glass and ceramics industries • in baking ovens of

large industrial bakeries.

Temperature application range: fluid lubrication up to about +200°C / +392°F dry lubrication up to about +450°C /

+842°F
