CASTROL VISCOGEN ® CL 22™

DESCRIPTION

VISCOGEN

® CL 22 is a thermally stable synthetic oil for high-temperature lubrication of

chains. Extremely pressure-resistant, solid-free additives form an adhesive lubricating film,

which prevents against wear.

APPLICATIONS

• VISCOGEN

® CL 22 was especially designed for high-temperature lubrication of chains in

textile and packaging machines as well as in conveying systems. It can be applied

manually or e.g. via splash lubrication, drip feed lubricator or in centralized lubricating

systems.

• VISCOGEN

® CL 22 is applied e.g. in tenter frames, dryers, washing plants, steamers,

slashers, shrink tunnels, painting lines, transport chains etc.

• Temperature application range: up to + 240°C/+ 464°F

• Compatible and fully miscible with mineral oils. Maximum performance, however, is only
