Description

Castrol Carelube ™ HES hydraulic oils consist of specially selected synthetic esters and

highly biodegradable.

Castrol Carelube ™ HES hydraulic oils are particularly recommended for use in

sensitive environments, such as near water, in the rural and forestry economy, in

mining or construction.

The oils can also be used in hydraulic machines that require coolants to

water-soluble ester base that minimizes contamination.

Castrol Carelube ™ HES hydraulic oils can be mixed with conventional hydraulic fluids at

mineral oil based as well as natural ester based fluids. However, any mixing should be reduced to

minimum in order to fully exploit the performance of Carelube HES.

Castrol Carelube HES is compatible with all elastomers used in hydraulic systems, such as

nitrile, silicone and fluoropolymers (eg Viton).

Carelube HES is classified as HEES hydraulic oil according to ISO 6743/4.

Carelube HES fulfills the requirements according to ISO DIS 15380 VDMA 24568 Komatsu G3 / G4

Application

The viscosity grade of Castrol Carelube ™ HES allows it to be mixed and compatible with virtually

all hydraulic oils based on mineral oil or ester. In order to switch from a system using oil

hydraulic to Castrol Carelube ™ HES, you simply have to flush the system with Carelube HES of the class of

corresponding viscosity, then proceed to filling.

Naturally biodegradable and therefore usable in systems where there is the risk that the hydraulic fluid

flows into water or into the ground.

Low aquatic toxicity, listed in water pollution class 1 (EEC 1) in the EU.

Very high viscosity index guaranteeing optimal behavior at temperatures in a range of

very wide temperatures.

Excellent corrosion protection ensuring maximum service life and optimum functionality

components.

Compatible with virtually all waterproofing materials, membranes and pipes.

Properties similar to those of mineral oil, which allows a change of liquid without modifying the

components.
