Description
Cresta ™ SHS is formulated from selected base cylinder stocks to achieve the desirable characteristics of high flash point
and oxidation stability. It possess good demulsibility, which means for the lubrication of the cylinders of high speed, totally
enclosed steam engines, it does not materially reduce the demulsibility of the crankcase oil.
Application
Cresta SHS is designed for lubrication of steam engine cylinders and valves. It is also suitable for other purposes, such
as the lubrication of heavily loaded slow-moving bearings and gears. It is also suitable for condensing engines using high
presuure steam upto 200psi and superheat upto 345 ° C / 653 ° F.
