CASTROL Castcon 59

Description

Castrol CastconTM range of low viscosity mold release agents contain special additives to provide a chemical release

action at the interface between the form surface and the material. Mainly used for concrete they can also be used on

all existing molds and forming materials (steel, wood and plastic), with or without the steam curing process.

Application

Castcon 51 is highly versatile and supplied ready to use. It is suitable for virtually all types of mold and form face

material including steel, timber and plastics (such as GRP and PVC). Castcon 51 is strongly recommended for use

where a high quality and blemish-free surface is required. It is also recommended for application to pallets during

block manufacture. Ideally Castcon 51 should be applied by spray. For smaller areas a brush, swab or squeegee can

be used. Over application should be avoided and for best results the thinnest possible coating should be applied.

Castcon 55 contains special additives to provide a chemical release action at the interface between the form surface

and the concrete. Castcon 55 is highly versatile and supplied ready to use. It is suitable for virtually all types of mold

and form face material including steel, timber and plastics (such as GRP and PVC). Castcon 55 is strongly

recommended for use where a high quality and blemish-free surface is required. It is also recommended for

application to pallets during block manufacture. Ideally Castcon 55 is of low viscosity to give easy spray application

and a thin film, maximizing coverage. For smaller areas a brush, swab or squeegee can be used. Over application

should be avoided and for best results the thinnest possible coating should be applied.

Castcon 59 is a special molding oil, for all types of molds and forms used in the building industry. Especially

suitable base oils conform to the application, ensuring the best seperation effect, and provide a high protection

against corrosion. The base oils also give concrete a smooth, clean and nonporous surface. In the case of an

operation interruption, this product also provides a sufficient wetting.
