Description Castrol Molub-Alloy ™ 4086 high performance bearing grease is an all-weather heavy-duty grease produced from carefully selected high quality components for compatibility with Molub-Alloy lubricating solids. MolubAlloy 4086 has good film strength and is a proprietary blend of Molub-Alloy solid lubricants to provide protection against friction and wear under heavy load.
Application Castrol Molub-Alloy 4086 is most commonly designed for industries with heavy-duty applications. Weather capabilities of this range including steel, mining, logging, chemistry, and construction. It is especially useful in conditions that require sealing against external contaminants such as dust and water. The Molub-Alloy 4086 series works effectively on plain, trunnion and frictionless bearings. They exhibit adhesive and are resistant to cohesive properties and mechanical shearing. Typical applications are ball and roller bearings, bushes, bolts, screws and general lubrication where loads can be heavy and speed is low. Molub-Alloy 4086 bearing grease can be applied by any standard grease dispensing method.
