CASTROL Optitemp SW 1

Description Castrol OptitempTM SW 1 is a lithium-based grease containing synthetic base fluid and premium extreme pressure (EP) additives. The wax-free nature and low traction coefficient of synthetic base oil (compared to mineral oils) provide excellent low temperature pumpability and very low starting and running torque. It can also offer potential for: saving energy and reducing operating temperatures in the load zone of rolling and sliding element bearings. Lithium complex thickener provides excellent adhesion, structural stability, sealing effects and water resistance. Primarily intended for a wide variety of applications at extreme temperatures, the grease also has a high level of chemical stability and excellent protection against wear and corrosion.

Application Castrol Optitemp SW 1 is recommended for harsh industrial applications, especially for the lubrication of gimbal bearings in the wind. Turbines. Provides outstanding bearing protection under high loads and applications at low to medium speeds. water resistance is critical. Castrol Optitemp SW 1 is also recommended for use in steel and paper mills. Recommended operating temperature range is -400 C - 1800 C.
