Description
Castrol Spheerol FG 00 EP is a semi-fluid EP (extreme pressure) grease, based on polymer thickened mineral oil. The
Extreme Pressure properties required by heavily loaded steel gears are provided by a thermally stable sulphur
phosphorus additive. The oxidation inhibitor ensures a long and trouble free service life. This grease is fully compatible
with ferrous and non-ferrous metals normally used in gear systems, and with conventional sealing materials.
Application
This grease finds extensive use in industrial spur, bevel, worm and helical enclosed gears. It has been designed to
reduce leakage risk and to provide excellent shear stability, load-carrying ability and the 'coating' characteristics that
eliminate the risk of dry start-up. It has a working range from -10°C to 100°C.
