Mobile Gargoyle Arctic 300
C Heavy and 300 products are high performance, naphthenic mineral oils developed primarily for use in refrigeration compressors. Since they do not contain wax, they have very low pour point and excellent fluidity at low temperatures. As a result, using Gargoyle Arctic oils keeps the evaporator pipes clean, increasing heat transfer and reducing downtime for maintenance. These oils have very good chemical stability and are suitable for roller and bearing lubrication.
Gargoyle Arctic 155, C Heavy and 300 are compatible with all kinds of refrigerant gas, except sulfur dioxide. These are not recommended for use with HFC refrigerants. The humidity of packaged Gargoyle Arctic 155, C Heavy and 300 oils is very low. Any measures should be taken to keep the oil dry in order to prevent ice formation, oil deterioration and copper plating in the expansion valves.
