CASTROL Optitemp 6590

Explanation

Castrol Optitemptm 6590 is a lubricant designed for overloads in all types of constant speed connections. Completely

the synthetic product has excellent high and low temperature properties. Lowers product temperature

improves joint and noise and vibration behavior (NVH). The product has excellent compatibility with traditional

shoe materials, including silicone.

Application

Application in homokinetic ball and tripod joints (MoS2 free)

Suitable for connections in side shafts and high speed connections in propeller shafts

Vehicles where periodic axial forces in the Joint have a direct effect on driving comfort.

Joints exposed to high mechanical and thermal loads

Application at extreme temperatures:

- Low temperature up to 40°C

Constant temperature up to 180°C (in CV connections)

Maximum temperature is 200°C (in CV connections)

Used in high sliding friction components
