Explanation
Castrol Braycote 1729 is a smooth, translucent nlgi # 3 lubricant. Based on low molecular weight
perfluurinated polyether oil and a tetrafluoroethylene gelling agent. Braycote 1729 fireproof, chemically
it is inert to strong acids and alkalis and is compatible with oxidizer. Castrol Fluoroclean ™ X100 and Castrol
Fluoroclean ™ can be used to remove this lubricant. See the data sheets for information about them

Application
Braycote 1729 is recommended for applications where lubricants are compatible with aggressive chemicals
and oxidants in direct or indirect contact are the primary concern. Braycote 1729 is stable when exposed to both
concentrated acids and bases and oxygen. Perfluorinated greases, in general, exhibit excellent shelf life
their intrinsic inertness
