CASTROL Molypaste VP 317

Description

Castrol®

 Molypaste VP317 is a black paste containing solids for base and thinfilm lubrication at high pressures. Due to its soft consistency it has a good

workability and excellently protects against corrosion. It features a high content

of solid lubricants (MoS2).

Applications

· For press and snug fits at high temperatures up to + 450 (+ 600°C) /

+ 842°F (+ 1112°F)

· As base lubricant for sliding bearings, bushes and gearings

· For slide ways, piston rods, guides and joints

· As separating and lubricating agent for metal shaping

· Temperature application range: - 40°C/- 40°F up to about + 450°C/+ 842°F

(in case of reduced air supply up to + 650°C/+ 1202°F)

Notes for Use

· Clean surface. Apply thin and even layer of Castrol®

 Molypaste VP317 with

a brush or a lint-free cloth. Remove excess paste.

· Only for paste-specific applications - cannot replace oil or grease lubrication.

· Please avoid mixing with other pastes or greases and oils which are not

compatible.
