PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Castrol Aircol SR series is a series of synthetic air compressor oils produced using high quality synthetic diester base oils and superior additive technology.

PLACES USED

Castrol Aircol SR series has been developed to cope with heavy operating conditions in screw, vane and piston air compressors, operating at high compression rates and high air outlet temperatures. Compared to mineral oils operating in these conditions, the Aircol SN series offers much lower drying tendency and longer oil life thanks to its much higher oxidation resistance.

In piston compressors, the Aircol SR series can have up to eight times the service life of mineral oils.

Thanks to its ability to reduce the feed rate for cylinder walls and piston rings, it reduces oil consumption without increasing wear rates. Since less lubricant is used, the quality of compressed air also improves.

Less wear on all moving parts reduces compressor downtime, extends machine life and reduces maintenance. Thus, it provides a significant reduction in costs.

Thanks to the wide working range, Aircol SR series oils provide superior advantage over conventional mineral oils. The high self-ignition temperature increases the safety level by reducing the probability of fire and explosion in the flow direction.

Caution: It is recommended not to use any additives with the Castrol Aircol SR series.
