Castrol Icematic SW 32

Icematic 266 and 299 are high quality cooling compressor oils specially designed for use in refrigeration and air-conditioning plants using fluorocarbon refrigerants. The superior low temperature characteristics of these oils prevent the oil-freon mixture from forming tangles and clogging the lines as a result of wax crystallization in high-performance plants using freon refrigerants. In most systems using R22, the critical solution temperature characteristics of these oils prevent oil / refrigerant decomposition problems in low temperature circuits. Synthetic cooling oils may be preferred in cases where evaporation temperatures are unusually low, or in systems that do not contain oil / refrigerant separators.
