CASTROL Perfecto THZ 32

Description

Castrol Perfecto™ THZ range has been developed to meet the exacting lubrication requirements of steam turbines

where a mineral-based oil is required. The additive treatment ensures good corrosion and oxidation

resistance, excellent demulsification properties without foaming in service.

Application

The grades in this range are recommended for the lubrication of steam turbines and are also suitable for the

lubrication of water and gas turbines, crank-chambers of steam engines and air compressors.

The product may furthermore be used for power turbines of generating sets based upon aero-derived gas

turbines with moderate operating temperatures as well as a lubricant for circulation system.

Castrol Perfecto THZ can be used where the following specifications apply:

Requirements of the major turbine builders and users corrosion test.

ASTM & IP 2000 hours "Long Life" to an acid value of 2.0 mgKOH/g application.

CEGB / CERL Total Oxidation Products limit.

CIGRE Soluble Catalyst limits.

Federal VV-L-791 (a) 5311 for static water drop

Special additives prevent the formation of rust and metallic oxides, which cause excessive wear in moving parts.

The product readily separates from water, reducing contamination.

The product range can be used for a wide range of applications, for example pumps, motor compressors and

hydraulic systems.

Contains high demulsibility, high Viscosity Index and an exceptionally low foaming tendency.

It is a multi-purpose product containing oxidation inhibitors and rust preventatives.
