Mobilgard 1 SHC synthetic diesel engine oil by ExxonMobil is a superior performance, distilled diesel fuel engine, specifically formulated to meet high power needs. It provides unmatched lubrication such as long drain capability and long engine life for today's diesel marine engines operating under severe conditions.
Mobilgard 1 SHC's superior performance capabilities are the result of extensive engine development efforts, along with the latest engine lubrication engineering. It is particularly effective for extreme temperature applications. Real SAE 40 grade oil provides stronger lubricating film strength on very hot engine parts, most SAE 50 engine oils. It flows like a SAE 20W product at low temperatures, thus providing outstanding start-up reliability and wear protection at low extreme temperatures such as -54 º C

In modern, high performance, low emission, heavy duty applications, diesel engines increase demands from engine oils. Mobilgard 1 SHC is recommended to be used as sump oil in heavy marine medium and high speed diesel engines. It is suitable for the needs of high power concentration motors for applications involving low temperature and / or frequent start-ups, fast start-ups after fast loading, and sudden shutdown as well as severe thermal stress and loading on the oil.
