Mobil Centaur XHP 460 Series greases are a superior family of greases developed with advanced calcium sulphonate thickener technology. Calcium sulphonate thickener, anti-rust and extreme pressure (EP) features. Compared to traditional soap-based thickeners (lithium, aluminum, calcium soap), the calcium sulfonate thickener used in Mobil Centaur XHP 460 Series excels in water-saturated environments by protecting against rust during extended relubrication intervals. EP properties show very good stability in aqueous environments, providing a balance between wear protection and corrosion resistance.
