High performance Mobil SHC ™ Polyrex EM Series greases are specially formulated for electric motor bearings. Advanced thickener formulation and special manufacturing techniques provide better bearing performance and protection for longer life in electric motors.

Mobil SHC Polyrex 102 EM Series has achieved up to 40% improvement in bearing torque reduction in controlled laboratory tests (*).

(*) Torque reduction in deep groove ball bearings is based on comparing the performance of Mobil SHC Polyrex 102 EM with the performance of a conventional grease of similar viscosity grade (mineral). The technology used provides up to 40% lower torque values ​​than the reference grease when tested in a bearing under controlled conditions. Productivity increase varies according to operating conditions and applications.

Mobil SHC Polyrex 102 EM greases are recommended by leading bearing and electric motor manufacturers to provide long-lasting lubrication of electric motor ball or roller bearings.

Mobil SHC Polyrex 103 EM is particularly recommended for vertically mounted bearings or very large motors where a harder grease is required by the manufacturer, and applications where sound sensitivity is not required.

Mobil SHC Polyrex EM greases have been shown to be compatible with competitive mineral polyurea electric motor greases, as well as some ExxonMobil lithium complex greases, as determined by the ASTM D6185 methodology.
