CASTROL HYSOL EPS

DESCRIPTION

Castrol Hysol EPS is a long life extreme pressure soluble metal working fluid for use on ferrous metals. This product has the ability to overcome foaming problems associated with the use of soluble metalworking fluids in soft water areas and other high foaming

applications. It will also be resistant to the formation of hard water soaps associated with the use of soluble metalworking fluids in extremely hard water areas.

APPLICATION

Castrol Hysol EPS has excellent defoaming properties and can be successfully used in soft water areas. This product is specially recommended for the machining of high tensile strength steels and other difficult metals over a wide range of operations including automatics, CNC lathes, and form tool work such as gear roughing and broaching operations. Castrol Hysol EPS possesses a special additive system to ensure an extension of sump life, excellent component finish, and resistance to both corrosion and bacterial attack. Hysol EPS is able to perform certain machining operations that formally were carried out using neat cutting oils. Castrol Hysol EPS is suitable for machining all ferrous metals on a wide range of applications including some broaching operations.
