Description
The Energrease LS-EP series are high-quality lithium soap-based greases, made from solvent-refined oils. Anti-wear additives as well as oxidation and corrosion inhibitors ensure a long service life for the grease and protection of the metal surfaces.
Energrease LS-EP is also added with EP additives, which ensures even lubrication of the surfaces even when exposed to heavy or shock loads. The greases are resistant to water and they are each suitable for many lubrication purposes, within application temperatures between -25 ° C and 140 ° C.
Application
The Energrease LS-EP greases are primarily developed for use in sliding and rolling bearings in machine types such as e.g.
electric motors, machine tools, textile machines, woodworking machines, paper machines and
construction machinery.
The greases are recommended for use where the surfaces are exposed to heavy or shock loads.
The Energrease LS-EP greases meet the requirements of British Timken for use in steel mills.

Other informations
When changing fat types, there is always a risk that fats are not fully miscible. To minimize this risk, it is therefore recommended to empty as much of the existing grease from the lubrication point as possible before filling another grease. Run-in of a new grease should initially be monitored, as an additional drain may be necessary.
