CASTROL Biolube 2T

Description

Biolube 2T is a fully synthetic biodegradable 2-stroke engine oil for use in water-cooled outboard and personal watercraft engines, including those from leading Japanese and American manufacturers where NMMA TC-W 3 lubricants are specified.

Application

Biolube 2T is specially formulated to combine the requirements of high performance engines with environmental demands such as biodegradability and low hydrocarbon emissions. It is readily miscible with fuel and contains selected ashless additives to provide exceptional overall engine cleanliness, thermal stability and reduced spark plug fouling.

Biolube 2T is suitable for use in premix and oil injection systems with both leaded and unleaded petrol for fuel/oil mixture ratios, as recommended by the engine manufacturer, up to 100:1.

Additional Information

The biodegradabilty of Biolube 2T has been established by European test method CEC L-33-A93.

The results confirmed that, depending upon natural conditions, it will biodegrade in water over 80% within 21 days, which is far superior biodegradability than that of conventional mineral based 2-stroke engine oils.

Storage

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings.

Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
