Castrol Duratec M is formulated for use in spark ignition and dual-fuel gas engines where a low to medium ash is specified. Developed for the lubrication of natural gas fuelled engines it is equally suitable for engines running on landfill gas or engines with excessive valve seat recession. Castrol Duratec M is a mineral oil based low ash gas engine lubricants available in SAE 40 and 15W-40 viscosity grades with a wide operating temperature range handling extreme environments.
