Castrol Heat Transfer Oil

Castrol Heat Transfer Oils are formulated from very stable paraffinic base oils that are fortified with high temperature oxidation inhibitors that carry away heat from critical components. Castrol Heat Transfer Oils’ high viscosity index coupled with a low pour point offers excellent circulation during cold weather startups, eliminates heat from over heated pump motors, and protects against hot spots (high fluid temperature in the heat exchanger).

Castrol Heat Transfer Oil 100 Light recommended for application in closed circulation systems with temperatures up to 287° C (550° F). Castrol Heat Transfer Oil 100 Light is particularly applicable where high transfer rates or good flow rates at fairly low temperature are desired.
