Description
Castrol hitac rock drill oil is designed for extreme loads in rock drill applications and formulated with fatty acids that increase the lubricity during contact under extreme pressures. Additionally, Castrol hitac rock drill is formulated with extreme pressure, rust, and corrosion protection additives while providing tackiness for adherence to drill surfaces.
Castrol Hitac Rock Drill Oil meets the performance requirements of many rock drill manufacturers such as Ingersoll-Rand, Gardner Denver, and Sullivan. Rock drill splines are subject to sliding action under intense pressure. To prevent metalto-metal contact, Castrol Hitac Rock Drill provides outstanding extreme pressure characteristics in highly loaded pressures.
Advantages
Castrol Hitac Rock Drill delivers:
Increased lubricity for extreme loads
Advanced extreme pressure additives to prevent metal to metal contact
Excellent rust and corrosion protection. Protects drills during extended idle periods and the presence of heavily moisture-laden compressed air.
Contains a tackiness agent that will provide excellent adhesive characteristics to drill surfaces.
Good oxidation and nitration stability to prevent gumming of any parts exposed to high temperatures.
Castrol Hitac Rock Drill is recommended for use in heavy-duty pneumatic rock drill applications such as Gardner-Denver, Chicago Pneumatic Worthington, Ingersoll-Rand, Joy, etc. Other air operated tools that require extreme pressure lubricant such as jackhammers, pavement breakers, smaller in plant pneumatic tools, drills, wrenches, etc.
