CASTROL Outboard EP 90

Description

Castrol Outboard EP 90 is an extreme pressure lubricant blended from high quality base oils and designed for use in many of the gear cases employed on outboard and inboard engines.

Application

Castrol Outboard EP 90 is designed for use in manual shift outboard and stern drive gearcases of outboard and inboard engines.

Advantages

- Provide protection against welding, scuffing and galling of the gear teeth;

- provides protection against wear, especially in high temperature and high load areas of the meshing gears;

- displays good thermal stability and resistance to oxidation;

- provide protection against corrosion of ferrous and non-ferrous components;

- the anti-foam properties ensure a continuous film is maintained on gear surfaces.

Storage

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
