CASTROL RX Gas 15W-40

Description

Castrol RX Gas is a 15W-40 low ash engine oil designed for use in commercial vehicles fuelled by liquid or compressed natural gas (LNG or CNG). Castrol RX Gas is approved by many European OEMs for use in their gas powered engines.

Protection against deposit formation. Gas fuelled engines are sensitive to the formation of deposits on the piston crown area, which leads to uncontrolled ignition and consequent loss in engine performance and if unchecked, to complete engine failure. Castrol RX Gas 15W-40 has a special low ash-forming formulation to

minimise deposit build-up, this ensures efficient engine operation and longer engine life.

Protection against wear. Castrol RX Gas 15W-40 contains advanced anti-wear additives to protect against premature engine failure from wear, so reducing maintenance costs.

Storage

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
