CASTROL RX Mono 40

Description

Castrol RX Mono 40 is a heavy duty monograde medium ash engine oil formulated from highly refined mineral base oils.

Application

Castrol RX Mono 40 may be recommended for use in a wide variety of engines and transmissions. Castrol RX Mono 40 particularly suits fleet operators who favour monograde engine oils where common oil is preferred for engine and powershift transmissions.

Some engine manufacturers, Gardner and International (tractors), prefer monograde engine oils. Many others allow monograde engine oils under suitable ambient conditions. Castrol RX Mono 40 is a versatile heavy duty engine oil that can be used where monograde API CF, SG engine oils are recommended. It is also recommended for transmissions where an SAE 40 monograde engine oil is specified.

Storage

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
