Description

Non-staining hydraulic oil for aluminium rolling mills.

Application

Hyspin SA 46 is an industrial lubricant designed for use in hydraulic systems of the non-ferrous rolling industry, especially aluminium rolling. When leakages occur, lubricating oils may come into contact with rolled metal and lead to metal staining and, in some instances, the metal sheets may stick together. To solve these problems, in addition to excellent lubricity properties, Hyspin SA 46 exhibits non-staining and non-sticking properties.

The Hyspin SA 46 formulation is fully synthetic in order to achieve high shear stability and non-staining tendency.

It has good air release and demulsibility properties. Where contamination of the rolling oil occurs with leaking fluid, the use of Hyspin SA 46 is recommended. It will also protect the system from wear, corrosion and deposit formation and can be used in low- medium- and high-pressure hydraulic systems and servo-hydraulic systems.

Hyspin SA 46 exhibits extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties. Performance in FZG tests is comparable with that of HLP quality hydraulic oils. Recommended for non-ferrous (aluminium, copper and brass alloys) and conventional and stainless steel rolling.
