Description
Castrol Radicool SF-O Premix is a silicate free ready-mixed antifreeze, formulated using advanced organic acid
technology (OAT), and works over a wide operating temperature range for effective engine cooling in all climates.
Castrol Radicool SF-O Premix requires no customer dilution therefore ensures the correct concentration is always used, providing year round protection against corrosion, and offers freezing protection down to -38°F.
Application
Castrol Radicool SF-O Premix is a long-life coolant based on monoethyleneglycol, it is suitable for use in a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks and buses, for both petrol and diesel engines. In contrast to traditional antifreeze
coolants, Castrol Radicool SF-O Premix does not contain Amines, Nitrites, Phosphates, Silicates or other inorganic inhibitors.
For maximum performance Castrol Radicool SF-O Premix should not be mixed with other coolants. It is therefore recommended that cooling systems should be drained and flushed before re-filling with diluted Castrol Radicool SF-O Premix.
Advantages
The special inhibitor package used in Castrol Radicool SF-O Premix enables longer drain intervals with optimal protection against corrosion, cooling system blockage, overheating and freezing.
Other benefits are
Longer operational life by allowing extended drain intervals of 3 years plus
Longer life means reduced costs and less possibility of harm to the environment
Outstanding corrosion protection and cooling performance in engines employing cast iron and / or aluminium and also in cooling systems with aluminium and / or copper alloys
The additive technology in the product prevents build-up of calcium deposits from top up with hard water
Its formulation is based on monoethylene glycol combined with special OAT inhibitor additive technology
Protection against cavitation corrosion and rust
Effective lubrication of water pump
Suitable for use in mixed fleets

Storage
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
