Description
BP Energear Limslip 90 and 140 have been designed for passenger car and commercial vehicle axles and differentials with limited-slip requirements to satisfy the lubrication requirements of multi-disc brakes in controlling power flow in final drive units.
BP Energear Limslip combines hypoid and extreme-pressure potential with defined frictional properties to avoid wear and“squawk“ noise of such axles under severe load conditions.
Benefits
Very good wear protection, even under severe load.
Compatible with all seal material used by axle manufacturers.
Anti-chatter formulation.
Acceptable viscosity/temperature and low temperature flow properties.
Controlled and continuous frictional properties.
Anti-foam.
Specifications
BP Energear Limslip meets the requirements of
API GL-5 (and the obsolete GL-6) and MIL-L-2105D.
