BP Energol IC-RK 134 E

Field of application

Energol IC-RK 134 E is a first-class quality diesel engine oil for marine and railway use. The oil is specially developed for lubrication of General Motors ElectroMotive Division (EMD) engines. The oil is also approved for certain General Electric and ALCO engines.

Energol IC-RK 134 E offers the following benefits:

- Zinc-free formulation developed to protect the silver-plated "wrist pin" bearing in EMD motors.

- Persistently high base number in the formulation gives excellent

corrosion protection.

- Suitable for high-performance engines operating under demanding conditions and / or high or moderate sulfur levels.

Specifications

Energol IC-RK 134 E has been developed in accordance with the requirements of "Generation 5" engine oils as specified by General Motors EMD, General Electric and

ALCO. The oil also exceeds the quality requirements of the API-CD.

Storage

Packaged products should be stored covered. For outdoor storage, drums on which rainwater can collect should be placed in a horizontal position to avoid possible water penetration and erasure of labels.

The products should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 60 ° C, protected from strong sunlight and frost.
