description

Special requirements are placed on special oils for the lubrication of refrigeration compressors. Since high temperatures occur when the refrigerant is compressed, but very low temperatures in the evaporator, refrigerating machine oils, which are distributed in all areas of the refrigerating machines due to entrainment effects, must be fully functional at both temperature levels. In addition to good lubrication properties at high temperatures, refrigeration oils must have perfect flowability in the cold as well as resistance to the refrigerant used.

The Energol LPT series are unalloyed naphthenic mineral oils.

application

The Energol LPT series is designed for the lubrication of refrigerant compressors. You are exposed to the action of the liquefied as well as the gaseous refrigerant during use. According to DIN 51 503, refrigeration oils are divided into groups, taking into account the various common refrigerants. For mineral lubricating oils, the groups KAA (refrigerant ammonia), KC (refrigerant halogenated hydrocarbons) and KE (refrigerant hydrocarbons) come into consideration according to this standard.

The oils of the LPT series are fully suitable for the use of the three different refrigerants mentioned. The

The oils of the LPT series are just as suitable for use in large systems as they are for use in the machines of household refrigerators.

Main advantages

- Resistant to aging and thermal

 burden

- perfect refrigerant resistance

- good lubricating properties

- excellent cold flow behavior

- favorable viscosity-temperature behavior

storage

Containers of any kind should be stored under a roof, if possible. In the case of unprotected storage in the open air without a roof, the oil drums must be stored horizontally in order to prevent water from penetrating and to preserve the legibility of the labels. The products should not be stored at temperatures above 60 ° C. They are to be protected from direct sunlight or frost.
