BP Energol OE-HT 30

Description

Energol OE-HT 30 is a high performance alkaline oil suitable for use in the crankcase of low speed marine crosshead

engines.

Application

Energol OE-HT 30 is recommended as a main system lubricant in all low speed crosshead engines.

Energol OE-HT 30 is suitable for use in the new generation of camless engines such as the Warsila RT-flex engine and the MAN Diesel & Turbo "ME" and "MB" engines. These engines are designed to use the engine system oil as a sevo oil in the Hydraulic Power System and Energol OE-HT 30 has been formulated with the required load-carrying properties for this additional function.

Energol OE-HT 30 is fully approved by major marine crosshead diesel engine manufacturers worldwide.

Main Performance Features

Excellent thermal and oxidative stability to minimise oil degradation at high piston undercrown temperatures.

Detergency to minimise the formation of piston undercrown deposits with oil cooled pistons.

Centrifugibility to enable removal of water and insoluble particulate contamination.

Alkalinity to provide protection against the corrosive effects of acidic combustion products.

High anti-wear properties to FZG FLS (fail load stage) 12 for hydraulic fluid performance.

Excellent anti-rust performance.

Packaging and Storage

Supplied in bulk and drums of approximately 210 litres. Ensure drums are tightly re-sealed after use.

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings.

Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
