Description
The range of Vanellus C3 Mono oils are premium performance diesel engine oils.
They are formulated using high quality base oils and an advanced additive system to provide very high levels of engine protection under severe operating conditions. They are intended primarily for use in turbo-charged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, but can be used in some four stroke petrol engines where monograde oils are recommended.
(Vanellus C3 Mono 30 is the prime recommendation for Briggs and Stratton engines).
They also meet the transmission oil requirements for a range of off-highway torque converter transmissions as well as a range of truck transmissions.
The Vanellus C3 Mono range consists of the following monograde viscosities: SAE 10W, 30, 40 and 50.
Benefits
High levels of engine cleanliness and wear protection.
Excellent high temperature stability and resistance to oxidation minimises deposit formation.
Provides a high level of protection against low temperature sludge formation.
Wide range of viscosities available.
Suits the requirements of most automotive and industrial diesel engines that specify monograde oils operating on low sulphur diesel fuel.
Important role as transmission oils in certain mobile plant torque converter powershift units and differentials.
Assured performance from a rigorous testing and certification system.
Specifications
Vanellus C3 Mono oils exceed the following major specifications and performance standards:
API CF, CD
API SF
US MIL-L-2104 C, D and E
Allison C4 type performance
Note: Allison Transmission no longer recommend Allison C4 fluids for on-highway applications.
Storage
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
