Castrol Alpha SP 220

High Pressure and High Temperature Resistant Gear and Circulation Oil

It is a high-quality, solvent-refined mineral oil series specially strengthened with sulfur-phosphorus compounds in order to provide anti-wear and resistance to extreme pressure. It has excellent thermal stability and high load carrying capacity.

PLACES OF USE

It is recommended for the lubrication of recirculating or impact and oil-injected industrial gearboxes. It can be used safely in spur, helical, conical and worm gears.

Thanks to their excellent viscosity characteristics, they ensure that the starting torque in cold environments is not too high. The additives it contains are fully compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units. Alpha SP series is compatible with nitrile, silicone and fluoropolymer sealing materials.
