Mobil Gear Shc 6800 are premium performance ultra high viscosity synthetic lubricants designed specifically for use under heavy loads and mainly in gears where boundary lubrication conditions are at stake. They are formulated using synthetic-based base oils that exhibit unmatched low temperature fluidity even in high viscosity grades. These ultra high viscosity products can be pumped long distances and used for standard spray lubrication of equipment. High viscosity indexes and unique additive systems give these products unique thermal / oxidation properties, allowing them to perform perfectly at both high and low operating temperatures even in very slow speed gears. Its additive formulation also provides protection against rust and corrosion with its excellent EP and anti-wear performance.

Mobil Gear Shc 6800 meets the minimum viscosity requirements set by Falk Corporation for intermittent gear lubrication for winter and summer grade. Although these oils are not asphaltic and synthetic products, they also meet the viscosity requirements determined by the AGMA 14R and 15R lubricant numbers. Mobil Gear Shc 6800 does not contain any solvent-refined or asphaltic base oil in it.

Mobil Gear Shc 6800 is specifically used for the lubrication of open gear systems used in drive units of heavy loaded, low speed, stationary rotating machines. The product is applied with a spray system. Special applications include:
