Description
Castrol Ilogrind 483 is a neat grinding oil based on solvent-refined mineral oils with added fatty oil and chlorine.
It is a clear pale straw color.
Applications
Castrol Ilogrind 483 is recommended for:
Centreless grinding of plain cylindrical work.
• Centreless or plain grinding of shallow recessed work.
• Surface grinding of casehardened parts.
• Drill flute grinding on high-production machines and producing spiral taps and end mills by similar techniques.
• Machining of cast iron components on transfer line production and on semi-automatic lathes.
• Castrol Ilogrind 483 is suitable for all ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
