CASTROL Safecoat DW 30

Description

Castrol Safecoat DW 30 is a premium quality low solids protective formulated with concentrated high performance

additives. Based on a narrow-cut high flash point volatile solvent, it dries fairly quickly to leave an ultra-thin greasy

film, which imparts medium term protective.

Application

General purpose and high precision work, especially where thicker films would be unsightly or interfere with

functioning.

• Sealing after phosphating treatments.

• The protection of hand tools and fasteners, particularly prior to packing.

• The treatment of engineering tools and gauges.

Method of use

• Articles to be dried are immersed in the fluid for one minute in a dewatering tank.

Under the action of selected surface-active additives in the fluid, all moisture on the components separates in

the form of droplets.

• These accumulate at the bottom of the tank as a separated water layer, which is drawn off daily via a drain cock.

• Large items may be treated by spraying.

Removal

The Ultra-thin film of Castrol Safecoat DW 30 is readily removed by most common cleaning techniques.
